Lighting Control Systems offer businesses the potential for significant energy savings and a direct reduction in the costs associated with building management by minimising maintenance and consumables.

Automated control systems also provide flexibility.  Set lighting to pre-configured levels to carryout regular tasks, integrate lighting with security systems, or enhance health and safety procedures by lighting escape routes once a smoke alarm or heat detector has been triggered.

Nine to Five

Early AM

Key holder enters building, and presses pre-set function on control keypad.

Window blinds are raised and office lighting switched on and raised to meet predetermined lux level, so guaranteeing energy saving.

Occupancy sensors within staff welfare areas switch lighting on / off as occupied / vacated.

Mid Morning

With the natural rising of the sun, daylight sensors within the main office building seamlessly dim artificial lighting levels as the amount of natural daylight harvested increases.

Midday

Sheer anti-glare blinds lower, and zonal lighting adjacent to windows switches off.  Artificial lighting may continue to dim as sensors detect maximum daylight harvesting.

Early Afternoon Conference

Key personnel enter the conference / board room for a sales presentation.  The projector screen lowers, black-out blinds are closed, and audio / visual system is enabled all from the touch of one pre-set scheduled scene.

Visual presentation complete, blinds raise and artificial and natural light work together in harmony to meet the required level for face to face discussion.

Late Afternoon

As the sun starts to fall, anti-glare blinds raise, and your artificial lighting levels slowly and elegantly rise to maintain predetermined lighting levels.

Close of Business

Occupancy sensors trigger staff welfare lighting, lighting levels raise to maximum output and switch on and off as cleaners progress through different zones of the building.

Last man out utilises the master switch to lower blinds, switch off all remaining lights and activate security system.
