The Energy Saving Trust held their annual Energy Saving Week between 24th October and 28th October, reporting that millions of households and businesses across the UK have already cut energy bills and had started to save on the associated costs. With energy prices soaring and forecasted to continue doing so, Enlighten Systems stepped in to provide you with some top tips to avoid running up a hefty bill.
Enlighten Systems and its customers have been taking full advantage of our Indian Summer Sunshine. In these last two weeks we have managed to install five different systems, accumulating 23.67kWh. The 5 installs are forecast to generate around £250,000 in indexed linked tax free Feed-In-Tariff payments over the 25 year period, not bad for two weeks’ worth of instalments huh?

Due to higher solar irradiation exposure in the South West of England a Solar Photovoltaic system within the Devon area is more than likely to exceed National SAP calculations.

A property in Dartmoor National Park with a 4.0 kW Photovoltaic installation is emphasising the return on investment that is often generated with a Solar Photovoltaic installation.
One very happy Enlighten customer produced 194 kWh during the last ten days of April this year, only a few days after the installation of the 16 Sharp Solar PV panels was completed on the property situated in Dartmoor National Park. A further 500 kWh was then produced throughout May, resulting in an astounding £312 tax free income in only the first 6 weeks of this installation. Meaning the SAP average of 3000 kWh per annum should be far exceeded, while the return on investment could surpass £1381 in the 12 months from installation.
